My Philosophy
I believe wines should reflect the place where the vines are rooted and the grapes are grown. As Portuguese growers continue to unlock the immense quality embedded in their land, I’ve partnered with a select group of them to bring these unique wines of place to the United States market.
I work with producers focused on indigenous grape varietals, harvesting by hand, and practicing farming techniques that promote the long-term health and sustainability of their land. Minimal intervention in the winery allows that sense of place to shine in the glass and reflects the beauty and true character of the special place they call home.
